Christmas with Nina & Papa 2010

Sorry for the delay!  These are pictures taken from our visit with Nina & Papa.  We were thrilled that they came up to Chicago to spend a few days with us the week before Christmas.  It was a frigid week (When is it not frigid here?) but we had a really great time with them, as always!

Eating cinnamon buns at Ann Sathers
Freezing our butts off at the Christkindle Market
Putting Baker's massive fire station together before we went to bed.
Poor Papa can't get any privacy, even in the bathroom, without Baker wanting to know exactly where he is!

Breakfast with Santa at Macy's

He wasn't interested in pictures.
He smiled for Nina & Papa's pic though!
And always smiles for Santa, his favorite person on the planet!

He was such a big boy getting his face painted.  I've never seen him sit so still!  What a little beauty he is!
Playing in the ornament fountain...before they all got kicked out.  :)
After breakfast with Santa and a nap, we celebrated Christmas with Nina & Papa.  This is Baker's batch from them!
Love this face.
Tearing into them with no hesitation.  After each present, he would rush right to the next one and at the end, he said he wanted more "pwesents".  Geez!
A Woody suitcase! And ripping into the crane that he asked for all Christmas and the few months leading up to it.
A big surprise was the fire station that they bought him.  He was in awe of it.
It's bigger than he is.
Poor thing didn't get anything for Christmas.  ;)

Nina & Papa with the beloved canvas that we gave them.  They loved it!
The aftermath...Lord help us.
Looking like such a big boy playing his new iXL...he loves this thing!
So sweet sitting with Papa.
Playing with one of his favorite toys that he got...the crane.
Freezing yet again at the Christkindle Market.
Crazy crowds were near impossible to navigate with a stroller!
Playing with wooden German toys at this booth...thanks to the guy working it for taking this pic!

Making sugar cookies with Nina and then partaking in the goodness of them.  Every chef has to eat his food!
