Baker loves Bleeker and he gets so much enjoyment out of playing ball with him. Sometimes Bleeker will interact with him and try to get the ball out of his hand (which we have to constantly remind him to be gentle with Baker). Other times he wants nothing to do with Baker. But there have been quite a few times lately that they have played a lot of ball together and hearing Baker get so tickled over it can make anyone smile. These moments of playtime don't make Bleeker any less afraid of Baker. For him to be such a tough dog out on the street, barking at the biggest dogs, when we're home he becomes so nervous...runs away scared, often trembling and begging to be held or scratches at the door for someone to please let him out! It's sad sometimes. But he knows he's safe and we have to make sure that Baker is gentle with him also and not hitting him with toys (which has happened!).
He's really starting to figure out any way to use anything as a stepping stool. We have to be really mindful of this now. Since we've moved here, he's learned to climb on top of his activity table under the window and stands on it to look out the window. Scary!
