Good Report from the Doctor:
I know that there are many people who have been praying for us over the last few days as some of you knew that we were taking Baker to see a neurosurgeon today at Children's National Medical Center. We found out that Baker is just fine! He will never have a perfectly round head, but most of us don't. The neurosurgeon said that he still has soft areas that will allow the head to still mold to a rounder shape. He said that we could get the helmet if we wanted, but he said that he did not think it was necessary as it would not make much difference in Baker's case. He said that Baker's head and ears were in perfect alignment and that he was a perfect little boy - we already knew that! So thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. We wanted to let you all know that he is all good.

I've debated on whether to do this or not but to not post a dedication to my mom would feel to me as if I'm trying to forget her, and I'm most certainly not. On January 15, 2003, my life was flipped upside down when I lost my mom to cancer at a young 50 years of age. She was beautiful, my best friend, full of life, the most amazing and forgiving woman I've ever known and my biggest cheerleader. A true Proverbs 31 woman. Though I'll never understand why she was taken from me and my family at such an early stage in my life, missing my wedding and the birth of our child, I have the hope in knowing I'll see her again in heaven. Mama, not a day goes by where you are not missed. I love you!
